Looks like Arizona's law works!!
« on: July 25, 2010, 04:38:55 PM »
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/us_usa_immigration_arizona

It appears that many of the invaders are leaving before the new Arizona immigration law takes effect. I wonder what old presBo thinks of this? Hopefully many of his supporters are not only leaving AZ but the country.

If you want to see how much support this law has read the comments under it, there were over 14 thousand comments and at least 10 to 1 were supporting this law.

I work for one of the local utilities as an electric serviceman. There are a lot of disconnects of electrical services in my area due to them heading back to their homes or on to other states with more lenient laws. All I can say is  Adios amigos.

It appears that this law is a very cost effective way to deport illegal invaders. Sounds like alot ar doing it themselves.

I would wait for the rash of foreclosures and business closings.  This will be good in the long run, but in the immediate future there is going to be a lot of vacant property and business with fewer people to sell to.
This that I do, I do by my own free will.

No reason for the courts to be involved til they catch the scum, find em guilty, load em up, ship em out. Like dukkiller said it will have to play itself out in the courts.  All it takes is one illigal friendly judge and there will be trouble and everything will revert back to the way it was.

The Feds have this habit of pulling Fed Friendly retired judges off retirement to hear their cases.  Works everytime.

Where you see vacant property and lost sales I see affordable housing and business opportunities.  One of us is missing the mark.  Maybe time will tell if AZ's immigration law holds.

Any judge that rules against this law should be tried and hung as a traitor. Being that judges were lawyers it would mean 99 percent of them are parasitic scum.

Oh, yeah.  Forgot that we were in a housing boom and it is a sellers market and we are sitting at an all time low unemployment rate.   ::)  This will eventually be good for our society, but in the mean time it is going to have major, negative, economic impacts.  I'll quote duk

Maybe I see it wrong but it would seem each illegal will be a court case . Each will be a cost to the tax payer . Az may well be doing the correct thing but can they afford it ? Will the feds step in on the side of the illegal and elevate the cost to levels Az. can't afford ?
I hear people here at times talking about being right and following the Consitution when the fact is going to court cost both money and at times some freedom. Winning in court but being bankrupt from the cost is really no victory .
What would 100000 cases cost AZ. ?
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

I hope AZ sends ALL of their  invaders to kalifornia and large cities that protects these criminals. They cost us over $334 BILLION in 2008, I'm sure it's much higher than that now.
I would rather interract with the world as it SHOULD be, than the way it is. A big reason we are in this mess is lawyers protecting those, for money of course, who should HAVE NO RIGHTS AS ILLEGALS. Can't deport 20 million criminals??? the longest journey starts with the first step.  :o :o

you may be right but are you rich enough ? many illegals working pay taxes and never file to recover it because the SS numbers are not good ones . Could this be why many in Govt. don't wish to stop it ?

No the illegal’s have enough dependants listed that they pay nothing in pay roll taxes. If it's your social security number the sob is using, you will one day get a visit from the IRS saying you owe us a lot of back taxes! Pay up boy! Good luck telling them you do not owe it.
Saw some guy on TV there must have been several of them using his number as he had earned money in several different states at the same time. The IRS was making his life hell. While the illegal went his merry way.

Beerbelly is correct, Jose illegal will claim enough dependents on a SSN that they do not pay taxes. Often Jose illegal becomes Juan illegal when the question comes up.

When was the last time you filled out payroll taxes for a company ? And no most don't list 1o + anymore as it is a red flag been so for several years now . Seems most do 3-5 dependents . We check every new hire with the soical security office for legal. After 2-3 years we sometimes get a notice that a employee(s) needs to produce legal documentation as their records are incomplete . They leave in the night and all paid funds remain. The guy on TV does happen for sure but not as often as what i noted.

SHOOTALL. I don't see how the taxes they MIGHT have taken out could even come close to the billions of $s they cost us every year. A lot of the invaders work for cash and pay NOTHING. There are other things too, rapes, robberies, murders, car accidents, welfare, food stamps, xtra $s for signs and papers in spanish that the pantywetters force on us. Then theres the cost of jails, hospitols, schools, etc. They get free medical care cause they simply don't pay. I'm sure what you say is true but theres no way keeping what little they do actually pay in taxes could possibly make up for the billions they cost the American taxpayer, or the lost lives. POWDERMAN.  :o :o

powderman , I agree with it costing us . But you must realize that Govt. will not waste a crisis . The illegals are a crisis and the longer it last the more power - jobs and dependence on govt it brings . Then add the extra cash comming in its a win win for those progressives now ain't it ?

I would like to see people here look at how different issues work togather to split us . We fight over the issues here but in reality its just a multi front attack on freedom and many get wrapped up in one issue to the exclusion of the real targets. Whats really going on ? What really matters ? The ss numbers should be an instant check . the borders should be closed and safe . Taxes should be collected . So why aren't they ? Whats the real issue ?

In this case its most of what posters say is the problems all togather not just mine or your pet one !

OK, it may cost AZ to prosacute some of the cases, but after a few convictions there will be an exadus from AZ.  Saving a bunch of money for AZ in the long run.

Every year I am on pin and needles about my taxes.  My SS# came from Tennessee, one of those states that is illegal friendly.  My fear is that they might somehow make up a number to see if it works and hit mine.

While in Florida last year saw crews scouring the more affuant neighbor hoods looking for labor type work.  All looked Latino, and most could not speak English.  My buddy asked how many of the crew was here legally?  No answer, but they finished the job they were working on and went to another street right away.

Shhotall, I know you seem to be a pro illegal alien person, but you are wrong, they like to claim 8 or nine. Yes you are telling a half truth here, they do leave when their status is questioned, but no they have really paid no taxes, so there is nothing to leave. Your half truths are getting to TM7 level.

If nothing else I'll betcha the crime rate goes way down. Were I an Arizona resident that sure wouldn't hurt my feelings any. Guys, there is no PERFECT answer. You have to take the bad with the good, and if the good out weighs the bad, then way to go Arizona! It's a situation that only time will tell the results of. That being said I aplaud the governor of Arizona. He's actually doing what everyone else wants to do but don't have the cajone's to do! Wonder if he could be talked into running for president? Now there's an idea!

Had another thought. Wonder if Obama is afraid to set foot in Arizona? They might ask him to prove his citizenship!  ;D

Sourdough, last few times I visited my daughter stationed at Norfolk there were groups of Mexicans riding the busses. None could speak a word of English and even had to be shown how to get a fountain soda. Each group had one guy doing everything for them, short of hand feeding them. Now how many green cards you suppose were in the entire bunch? My son use to run the biggest nightclub here in Branson. If trouble arose with Mexicans, Tyson acrross the line in Arkansas hired tons of them, all he had to do to clear the building of them was ask for a green card. They would disapear right in front of your eyes.  The local cops use the same stratagy. It's amazing how humble a drunk irate Mexican becomes at the mention of a green card. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see there's a nation wide problem. As for showing their green cards being unfair I just don't see it. If you're legal you shouldn't have a problem. Heck, how many times are all of us asked to show our drivers licenses?

Heck, another thing to consider. If it's that easy for Mexicans to cross our borders it's just as easy for terrorists too. Just as easy for them to get jobs. Just as easy for them to blend in. We not only need greater security at the borders. We need regular check ups on imigrants to see what they are up to. If they don't feel that fair then guess what? They can be more than welcome to leave and go back home.
