HERE's a tip:
You made your point quite some time ago. You have been beating a dead horse since then. Your intention seems to be to rub it in my face that you think my choice in rifle and caliber was a bad choice.
It was shown that the issue you chose to beat into a pulp, is not a big deal at all. I don't understand WHY to won't just let it go. It is YOU who could learn how to behave, and not keep harping on something thats been covered already.
Please don't post ANY more links, trying to prove you point. It is POINTLESS to do so. FYI, I DID call TC....guess what they told me....
?
Thanks to everyone who chose to discuss my new rifle, and not harp on something over and over.
That said....I think my 2nd barrel will be a varmint caliber. What do you guys recommend?
Don’t take others ideas or beliefs you see on forums personally, they are just someone views. I never said you made a bad choice in rifle and caliber, so attempting to twist my words into something that is clearly untrue is not good. I have owned my T/C Encore since 1997 and it’s in my opinion the best single shot break open pistol/rifle combination system on the market for the price, but not to forget the venerable T/C (G2) Contender.
I am free to post whatever I feel and you have no control over it, so I will continue to do so in the future. I have learned many years ago to humbly agree to disagree, and/or take or leave it.
OK moving on.
Varmint cartridges for the Encore here are the proven few:
204 Ruger
223 Remington
22-250 Remington
243 Winchester
25-06 Remington
I use a 24” 223 Remington barrel for my T/C Encore and it has proven to be very accurate. I have shot my hand loads using 45, 50, 55, and 60 grain bullets with H4198, H4895, and IMR-3031 powders.
Take care,
