Handy little Single Six
« on: July 26, 2010, 09:38:07 AM »
Dog was barking her damned fool head off had to got out side to check it out. Without thinking I grabbed my Single Six. Not my first choice had the problem been 2 legged. I could have got my wife's model 19, my 10/22, or my 12 gauge auto. It think the SS leave a hand free for my 3 cell flash light helps.
Got to get a center fire & practice with it. Wish I could find a SS in .32 H&R or the SP101 in .327. Wish the SP 101 had a 4" and adjustable sight. A Blackhawk is just too danged big.

  Dog barked. Grabbed Gun A, a .22lr revolver.  Didn't grab Gun B, C, or D.  I can hold a flashlight with Gun A.   :-\

Plenty of the Vaquero styled .32 Single Sixes easily found and the adjustable sight model if you look.    The SP's in .327 can easily be ordered.  Should be able to find on in .32 mag as well.  BH too big?   ???

Think if I could find a short barrel they are not that much heavier than a SS. A.357 pokes a LOT bigger hole.
