Single shot clay target sports?
« on: July 28, 2010, 04:26:17 AM »
I use to shoot trap many years ago.  I was tempted to try a single shot shotgun, but I know I would not have been able to reload it fast enough.  I am just curious, are there is clay shooting target sports for single shot shotguns?
‎Is it really Zombie Max, if it's not .357 Max?

I would say you could shoot any of the sports.  You could only shoot singles.  No doubles.  The gun clubs I shoot at would not have a problem with that. They are there for entertainment.

I once shot sporting clays with my grandmother.
She had a pair of BT-99's and had been on a driven hunt in Africa with a loader.
She showed me how to hand off the gun and had all the birds as report pairs instead of true pairs and shot the course.
Some courses will not let you do this.
