Being a fan of short lightweight handi's I am in the process of completing another 30-30 Topper. My 20" .223 superlight gave me the idea as I really liked the balance of this rifle. I purchased 30-30 Topper barrel sometime back and it was missing the sights. Seeing as how I was going to use a scope anyway, Larry cut the barrel down to 20" and recrowned the barrel, thus eliminating the part where the screw holes were. I am very pleased with how it turned out. Thanks Larry
