Trator
« on: July 30, 2010, 10:06:50 AM »
Pfc. Bradley Manning.  If this guy is the person that did release the Top Secret information, he should be tried under the Uniform Code Of Military Justice on treason charges.  If he is found guilty, he should be shot.  But the wife told me Clinton removed the death penality from the military.  So at least he should get life in Ft. Levenworth.

Am I alone in this view or do others feel this way too.

supposedly no TS only Secret... that's good.  Death penalty only for treason in wartime.  Is this "time of war"?  Methinks it would be argued that there is no declared war so no death penalty.

Still oughta get him taken care of in Iraq-istan though.  Let him make a political statement with an IED going off under him...

The Nazis said the same thing.  You have a great deal in common with them.

Yea, let's see how much courage Manning displays when he gets to Levenworth.  I have too much respect to GB to bring up what is going to happen to him, but you all can figure it out.  Manning will be a quite little bug and jump and assume his place when spoken to.

During my career I delivered two prisoners there.  Not a pleasent experience in it self.  While you are sitting at a table completing the paperwork to make the transfeer.  Guards come in and start the prisoners indoctrination.  When those guards start yelling, screaming obsinities, and slamming their batons into the wall and the table in front of the prisoner, makes you want to get up and run.  Sure is hard to consentrate on the paperwork.  Lets you know you never want to be in that position yourself ever.  I sent a Tech Sargent to deliver one guy there back in the mid 80s.  This Tech Sgt had an attitude before I sent him, when he came back attitude was gone.  In fact the experience was so tramatic for this Tech Sgt, I had to send him to counceling for months afterwards.  It is something that Tech Sgt will never forget.  Sure gave him a differant outlook on life.

OK, I don't know the classification of the material he released, that's not the issue.  The thing is he used his Top Secret Clearance to gather this info and give it to someone not authorized to have it.  His job was to protect that material from unauthorized sources.  He deserves life in Ft Leavenworth.

I hope Manning is put in general population. A guy form our unit got sent there for a year, he is a totally different person today. Ahhhh justice at its finest.  :D ;D :D ;D :D ;D

This guy will wish he was dead after a few months there, or maybe be will be.

How does a PFC end up with top secret information in his posession?

The info had to be in complete unexposed control of a higher level command position to get calssed top secret.

Seems by the time the info passed down to the PFC level it would be general knowledge.

The reports I saw said "Classified"  I had a secret clearance when I was an E-1.

I had a Secret as an E-1.  Then as an E-2 it was upgraded to Top Secret, because I had a need for it.  I worked in a building where you had to have a Top Secret just to get into the door.  His job required him to have that level so he had it.

By the way I was a PLUMBER.

What sized tinfoil hat do you wear?  The Islamics people don't need any help etting the world to hate them.  They do an excellent job of that on their own.  They are evil pure and simple.  They are the literal heirs of Cain.

And when was that?

Probably about the same time the government saw fit to give YOU a "secret clearance". It was a total lack of good judgement on their part to do such a thing, and I haven't trusted them since. ;)

My daughter is a Crypto for the Navy. Been one for 13 years so far and I'm thinking a Petty Officer 1rst class. I was Air Force so not sure. lol I know she's 1 rank away from the top Petty Officer rank. She has the highest security clearance next to the president himself and it definitely covers top secret. In fact, the computer on her desk says so and both the Navy and the FBI warned my wife and me that that makes us prime targets for kidnapping.

Is ok Dee. After all he already knows everything to hear him tell it, so how could anyone teach him anything? Besides, 1) I figure that puts me in good standing being on his ignore list. I'm quite certain that puts me among good people who also refuse to be intimidated by Swampy, and 2) he's on mine. Turn about is fair play after all and life is much more peaceful without his biggoted selfrighteous jibes. Besides, notice I really didn't have to say anything at all to aparently upset him? His own vivid imagination is his worst enemy. I'm quite happy leaving him to it. Let him smell his own stink bait. He seems to relish the smell. ;D

At least I agree with the Swamp guy about Manning "stretching a rope". I think that little freak Julian Assange, (wikiLeaks), should be punished too. Maybe a not so polite night time visit from our Black Ops. guys. But then again he would probably be even more popular in Levenworth than Manning. Blonds have more fun,.... I hear.

I don't know how to feel about it... people over there develope a wry? sense of humor quickly to avoid cracking up.  Also, "warriors" kill people so if those people are out in an area that is locked down and surveiling something they shouldn't... they might get shot.  Laughing about/while shooting people doesn't make soldiers evil BUT it is still sick.  Maybe the reporters were wrong for being there, maybe not?  Maybe the kids were human shields that didn't work?  Maybe the guys shooting them up were psycho?  We weren't there and don't know.  I do think back to the Pat Tillman ordeal, and 9/11 and think the whole "war" is a lie though... everyone covers up so much including the ideology of the war-gamers let alone their actual motives and accomplishments.

Was the guy that talked/snitched paid for his info?  That might make this whole thing tip to one side or the other (patriot or traitor) for me.
