I've got quite a quantity of once fired Fiocchi 12 ga orange target hulls. I want to use them for hunting loads both 1 1/8 oz for grouse and 1 1/4 oz for pheasants there isn't a lot of load info in any of the usual spots (alliant.com, hogdon.com or Lymans 5th). Anyone else use them and what load info would you be able to share. One reason that I want to use them is for ease of identifying from my target loads using Win AAs and Rem Gun Clubs.
Here's a couple of possibilities - out of the Alliant guide (substituting the Win 209 for the Fiocchi 616 primer):
Fiocchi hull
Federal 12S4 Wad
25 gr Unique
Win 209 Primer
or 30 gr Herco
or 40 gr Blue Dot
I've got the Unique and Blue Dot, but would need to get the Herco.
Anyone got any experience using Herco?
