Sheriff Seeks Donations For Guns To Fight Drug Cartel - Phoenix News Story - KPHO Phoenix
The best part is, he has contracted with an Arizona company to make the AR-15's. The Sheriff's Department needs about 200 more. Sheriff Babeu is looking to raise $150,000 for these weapons and It's tax deductible.

Did you read the story? Someone texted a phone number and a msg to call the number if you wanted to collect the $1M. Seems a bit weak to me. Hi, I'm Jim and I killed Joe, can you tell me where to pick up the money? Ummm, what do you mean, 1500 other people called you before me?

Looks like things may get exciting down south. With everything thats happening in the country, Arizona just might be the boiling point. If bullets start flying it's gonna spread all over real fast.

Why are they buying AR15s? At least in the past the feds were selling local police forces and state la enforcment M16s and M14s for 100 bucks each. I really enjoyed helping clean the cosmoline off of an unissued M14 then take it to the range and fire it. We really got some looks when we opened it up full auto. Those babies are hard to control full auto. My brothers department got M16a1s, they are pretty nice for 100 dollars each.

That is very interesting. I get stuff from CMP, which still has a crapload of Garands. But of course they can't sell anything that runs full auto (M14 and M16 are quite old now). Assumed they were demilled. Now I know different.

I was at a cold storage warehouse yesterday in Ft. Worth Texas for about 5 hours. The entire staff in the office, and on the docks is Mexican. Legal-illegal? I don't know. What I have noticed is the change in attitude since the president started backing the illegals against Arizona, and basically all Americans. They have become aloof and arrogant at this dock, and mouthy where they weren't before.

I suppose it's natural for one illegal undocumented invader (the bamster) to take up for others, but from what I've noticed, blacks aren't usually very sympathetic toward beaners whether they are legal, or not. Still don't understand why the ar15s instead of some really good govt surplus stuff??? Could be 1 of 2 things or both. Either osama doesn't want to sell to him, or Joe Arpaio wants nothing from the feds. Don't blame him cause osama is no friend to any Americans. POWDERMAN.

myronman3, I don't think Sheriff Joe will back down either, but there is many a tuff man on the wrong side of the grass, for that very reason. I hope they don't get him, but he's exposed due to his job. If they do get him, all hell may break loose along our borders, and well it should. I for one have long since been tired of our little brown brothers riding our hospitals into the ground down here in Texas.

Have you got an accurate source on that quote wreckhog, or are you just trying to down play a man that is not afraid to do his job? Over a year ago some Federales opened up on some Texas deputies with 50s on jeeps when they tried to stop two suburbans running back across the river trying to get away.
I like Joe's courage and determination to protect American territory, and citizens. You on the other hand like socialism, and it's handouts perhaps?

Perhaps the threat wouldn't seem so weak" if the $1,000,000 were placed upon your head..or the heads of your family.

Frankly; If our president had any "cohones", when he heard one of our sheriffs has been threatened in such a way, he would slam the door and start handing out contracts for a dead-or-alive blitz on illegals in the DMZ...but then, he obviously doesn't..
