Well it arrived today and I am speachless. Not only is it prettier than the pictures, it is one fine shooting bows. After getting her unwrapped I quickly made my way over to Santa Fe Archery to get a nock installed, I couldn't find one and I searched all my stuff, twice. Besides they have an indoor range and shooting inside where it was cool also sounded like a good idea. I am competely impressed with this bow, it took a little for me to get use to, and for the new string to settle in, but then it was lights out. It is a smooth as any recurve I've ever shot, and far smoother than all longbows. Not sure about speed, but it was hitting harder and deeper than my Chinook which is 7lbs heavier. BTW this is a short longbow, coming in a only 62 inches so I would have never thought it would draw and shoot as smooth as it did. I really expected it to be tight, and have hand shock, but it had neither.
I will have to recommend one of these bows to anyone in the market for a new longbow, and Tony also makes them in standard lengths as well as also making recurves and TD recurves.
