dee.. my only question for him would be is he aware that only one [the creator] can get us outa this mess ,we got ourselves into..if he counsels with him,, in his own way,, he would get a strong look from me..
i just hope for my children an grandchildrens sake,,he don t just let us learn how prescious freedom was..
i was reading of the life of joseph [coat of many colors] recently..look at what he accomplished as a slave..
our only chance for a repreve is turning back to the creator..no guarantees on that though.. a responcible father,, hates to punish his children..but he has to do it sometimes ,so his children man know he is dependable..
 have a good time ,dee.slim

I like RON PAUL, but if he's EVER going to be a viable presidential candidate he needs to start campaigning YESTERDAY, not 1 or 2 months before elections like he and the others usually do.
Rand Paul spoke today in KY and made a darn good speech today. The dems had a section of hecklers and tried really hard to disrupt the proceedings. His opponent is dumcrap scum, named conway. Never heard conway even mention, osama, pelosi, or reid, hmmmmm. POWDERMAN.  :o :o
Mr. Charles Glenn “Charlie” Nelson, age 73, of Payneville, KY passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at his residence. RIP Charlie, we'll will all miss you. GB

I think it's all about MONEY powderman. You can't campaign early if you don't have the money. I'm sure Ron Paul would love to campaign early, but most of the money goes to the liberal Republican "darlings" that are pretty, and give pretty speeches, with their fingers crossed when they make their winning promises.
As far as Rand Paul, he may blow Jack Conway out of the water.

Guys,

I'm very excited to see the interest in this coming election cycle, and the passion we all have in the process.  I'm mulling over all of your comments, and am going to make a poll of the 4 that seem most commented on.

First, I have to figure out how to do it, then I'll post it.  Give me a day or so, then please vote.

The problems that Ron Paul has been bringing attention to will have to be addressed soon.

Libertarians, such as Ron Paul want to address them in an orderly fashion, but doing so won't be popular with the majority because the majority has been conditioned to view the government as its mommy and daddy,..instead of the hugely corrupt parasite that it is.

I supported Ron Paul in 2008, but the opportunity to fix the mess before it becomes a crisis has passed.

The Demopublicans own the mess and they should continue to hold power until it all comes completely crashing down. (it won't be long)

Afterwards, perhaps the people will be more receptive to a true, small, non imperialistic libertarian type of government.

Had a nice, but short visit.  Congressman Paul is an outstanding Constitutional scholar.  More importantly, he speaks where a regular guy like me can understand what essentially are complex issues.

His speech was dedicating a donation to our local library, so he didn't talk long.  What he said was profound.

Basically, it is a "how to win in November" lesson coupled with "the way things work" lesson.  It's the economy, stupid (coupled with a little personal liberty)!!

Referring to his many heated discussions with Bernanke on the Fed, money supply, Constitutional law, and the economy, he said that even his young grand kids can understand this: you can't spend $2 Trillion more than you bring in and cause prosperity.  He breaks it down into pennies and dimes, but the story is the same.  Bernanke, Volcker, etc. are globalists.

Tell our kids that when they graduate High School, they'll owe the Government over $70,000, and they'll get the message (that's $240,000 after they get married and have two kids).  It is short and potent.

Almost nothing that we do now is authorized by the Constitution.  The Constitution is a document limiting government and protecting individual rights.  My how we have strayed.

sharke, I have been saying that for years in my little corner of the world, and on these forums, but try and get the voters to listen when the primaries hand them Obamas, and McCains, and the only candidates that fit the Constitution and Bill of Rights are 3rd Party Candidates. They'll vote "lessor of" and against the Constitution every time.

Skarke! You are indeed a fortunate man! You had the privilege to meet one on one, with one of the most honest , sincere,  true Constitutionalists in office this country has seen since the founding fathers. If we had one like him at the helm, and several more like him in the house, there would still be hope for the Republic.

Unfortunately! Finding more like him, would be like finding Sasquatch!

I believe there are more like him, but the average American is afraid to step out of the box and vote for them. They are emotionally trapped in a two party system. An old Lakota saying: If you catch a wolf, and put him in a cage, he will try and escape every chance he gets. If that wolf has pups in that cage, they (the pups) will never try and escape.
Today's voters have been raised in the "lesser of two evils cage", and are afraid of being outside the two party system.
Ron Paul is different from most anything the two party followers have ever seen. They are afraid to step out of the box with him, as they really don't understand him. I think they like what he says, but find excuses not to vote for him, as they are afraid of the two party backlash.JMO

There are plenty of people in the private sector like him, but at the State and Federal level, there are precious few. One rare advantage he has going for him, is the district he represents is basically made up of Libertarian, Constitutional thinking voters (True conservatives) Not a bunch of Neoconservatives, that would vote for Scratch himself, if the RNC told them too. Your correct! Most want to be on the winning team, not necessarily the RIGHT team!

You, Me and a few more like minded individuals on here catch more Hell, than a Democrat does, because we speak out against the failings and wrong doings of the Republican party. They consider us Traitors because of it.
