Wait, a good will trip to a forgien country is one thing. That is part of the job as first lady. Be it Africa, The Middle east, Asia, or Europe.
That is different than loading up 40 of your friends on a 757 and flying them to a luxury resort and taking over the palce for a VACCATION!!!!!!
A different plane and smaller security detail would have been used, less expensive rooms would have been booked.
This is not a good will trip.
Why could this trip have been to a high end resort here, we are the ones suffering from a ression her husband has made worse and will make worse still.
I think a tripple hit ressesion is more likely. The one we are in, the one to come in Jan when the tax HIKES take place, and a third when Obama Care Tax hikes go into effect.
As for the AIDS thing we will stop doing research and trying to find a cure for it once OBAMA CARE goes into effect. There is not a socialized country that does research into curing anything. Why do you think Michael J Fox is yelling about stem cell research here and not in CANADA where he is a citizen.
Our capitalist systems is what looks at problems, sees money to be made (maybe a bad thing but none the less what happens) and a solution to the problem is made or tried to be found. Do you think Louis Pastour killed bacteria for free? No he did it as a prize so Nepolean could can food for his armies. But he saw something that he could fix and did it cause there was a large prize for solving the problem. Benefited all of mankind in the long run.
And groups that can and will pay large amounts for items make it possible for others to obtain it at lower costs.

I think this is the real difference between Republicans and deomcrats. (yes the Republican party is capitalized and the democratic party is not. Democratic government is for some reason) if a Republican candidate does something wrong everyone will call him on it. If a democratic candidate does something wrong the democrats will give him a pass for doing the exact same thing or worse as the Republican did. With you it is the ends justifying the means rather than the conduct of the person and following the rules and laws. i guess it is the difference between a rational thinking person and an emotional thinking person. Explains the symbol of the party though. Do you think if they picked something dignified as the symbol they would act that way?
