I have a bunch of health problems, COPD, Heart failure, and just getting old, after I retired I treated myself to a new Quad, so I could ride it in the woods where I enjoyed walking and hunting for at least 35 years in an area close to my home, Then it came to the point where I rode or didn't go at all, that's when I bought the quad. I had the land owners permission to ride on this land and life was good for two years, until the land owner ( a lawyer ) turned the land usage over to the state game lands for tax purposes, he still owns the land. At that time riding on this land came to a screeching halt, because of state game laws, NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ALLOWED ON STATE GAMS LANDS!
I wrote the controllers? of the game lands and explained my problem and I received a one line statement from them, NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ALLOWED ON STATE GAME LANDS!
Everywhere else they fall over themselves to accomodate the Handicapped, except for our state game comissions sucks to be you attitude, I feel that I and everyone in my situation are being discriminated against, BTW I gave the quad to my daughter in law, as I haven't any use for it, unless our game comission gets its head out of its b--- and takes us into consideration.............steg
