I got it back, the factory said it put 25rds through it trouble free, my dealer said he put a mag through it and had no issues.  so I should be happy.  I'm not.  I cannot forget what happened before and don't trust it.  I really don't want to try to prove it and be disappointed again (and be out of money and time loading up ammo for it I could be using to get trigger time on my 700 for deer season (or 45-70, I haven't killed with that one yet).  I might just sell it but don't feel right trying to get a decent amount of dough from it after my troubles.  what to do?  maybe shop it around a bit and have some buddies handle it to see if THEY want to buy it after firing it, and if the price ain't right and THEY waste their ammo then I can trust it again?  decisions, decisions.  ???

Do you have any friends that really liked it? Explain the situation, let them try it.I know your frustrated with it and just want rid of it,and I would be too,but it may well be that the problem has been fixed. If I really liked a gun,but was worried they were all junk,I would jump at the chance to get a decent price on one, that I could test out first. The way I would look at it is,I get to shoot it a bunch, and have some fun,and then if it does not work out and its just not reliable, then I just dont buy it and dont have to worry about being in your position trying to get rid of something that does not work, and that I dont want to pawn off on some unsuspecting person.

my "main" dealer(s) (married couple i think) will confer on what price they will buy it for on saturday, if it's not to my liking I'll probably just hold onto it.  the internals aren factory spec again but actually, legitimately different from the last time, from what I can tell it should make a difference.  that helps whether I sell it or keep it.  I'll post up saturday.  worst case scenario i get great practice on clearance drills and trigger control (ever tried to get 25yd hits with gun this small, clearing jams on a gun this size with a compound recoil spring assembly and no slide lock?).

??? maybe I can fire it off a bit and like it

Why does anyone try to get hits at 75' with a SELF DEFENSE gun?

I bought one of the Kel-tec 9mm pistols & initially had probs with dependability until I found that if you held it like a gorilla, it would shoot anything dependably.   With my revolvers, you can hold them any way you want and they will always shoot everything.  NO :  finding the "right" ammo, shooting it 500 times to "break it in", fluff & buff, then try it again.  Revolvers just work.

I had it figured right in 1957.   Plastic guns are crap, better than nothing, but still crap.  If you want a real gun, get a metal one.

well in 1984 there was... I had plastic action figures by 86 or 87 probably.

I'm a snub guy now.  I suppose I could trust a makarov if anyone I know that has one would sell or trade.  NOPE! not likely.
