Nice find on a clean used 500C
« on: August 10, 2010, 05:13:07 PM »
Had a stroke of luck and walked into a local gunshop here today looking for a 20 ga. H&R with screw-in chokes and the guy ended up selling me a real nice 500C for $240 tax and all with a box of shells.  Came with the iron sighted slug barrel and regular and 3 chokes and tool.  8)

Well I took her out and peppered a tin can at 35 yards, so barrel is right on and no issues with loading, ejecting or shooting.  I'm a happy camper.  ;)

Looks good.  Are all their newer slug barrels ported?

Sure is hard to get out of a gunshop empty-handed when you have cash in your pocket!

It sure is!  I spend my gun money before it's hardly hit the bank most times.  lol 8)
