Back In The Game
« on: August 12, 2010, 07:54:19 AM »
Though I've been out a few times with a friend at his place, just got access to a new place for myself.  I drove around this morning and could certainly see where the hogs are spending most of their time, so the wife and I are going to go see what we can get this evening.

Sorry, Doug, no pigs tonight.  It'll take me a bit to find all those out-of-the-way places that they like to congregate.  Did have a good time checking out the place, though.  It's about 5000 acres with water in 4 or 5 ponds and I haven't found them all yet.  I'll keep you posted.

Sounds like you have some exploring to do.One thing I've found helpful with that sort of thing is google maps with the satelite and hybrid maps.Find your place and use them to help orient yourself.Especially helpful finding those waterholes.A satelite picture showed me where I had some wrong ideas on a place I been running all over since I was a kid.Now go find 'em.
