PSE X-Force axe

Finally took the plunge and upgraded to a New PSE X-force axe7. All I can say is WOW  this thing is everything you read about. Super smooth and FAST. My only complaint is at 20yds it's a 2 person project t pull my arrows out of the target. I can shoot 1 pin out to 30yds again it's all good so far. :) Anybody else shooting one?

PSE HAS COME ALONG WAY WITH THEIR PRODUCT LINEUP. I AM TRULY GLAD YOU LIKE YOUR NEW MISSILE LAUNCHER, NOW GO GET US SOME MONSTER WHITE TAIL PICS WITH IT.

I just shot a PSE X-Force and im down to it or a Diamond. Please keep the info coming I am very close to buying one of the two. Have you shot it with broad heads yet I felt it was just a tad little loud but at those speeds I think you would be ok.

groups keep getting smaller as I refine my form. Shot it with Rage practice heads and they shoot exactly where my field points do. I've only been shooting it about a month now and this bow makes it easy. My groups have cut in half over the the bow I replaced it with.

Will the x force really shoot flat out to 30 yds? That would be great then all you would need is a 40yd pin.

my set up will shoot with in 6 inches using 1 pin out to 30yds. I have since broke it up and have a 20, 30 and 40 yd pin to give myself a little more accuracy atthose ranges. My bow is set @ 29" draw and 60lbs using beman bowhunter arrows and Rage 100gr broadheads.

Would you hold right on a deer at 10yds with your 20yd pin or would you aim low? and would you hold dead on a deer at 35yds with your 30yd pin or would you need to hold high? how far is your 40yd pin good for? Sorry for the questions but im about to spen alot of money on a bow and want to get the right one!

@ 10yds I do hold low. 20 -40 right on. Have not shot much past 40 but from what i've seen the 40 pin held mid deer @ 50yds would result in a fatal shot. The x force axe is a really nice bow. That being said if I were you I would go to my local pro shop and shoot a bunch of different ones before i laid down my $$. I wanted a Mathews before I shot the Axe. This is only my second bow and I was in the same boat you are. I would definately try a few befroe you buy one. That being said you won't be disappointed with the PSE

If you like pse dont try the omen.i had one traded it to a guy who shoots everyday and its now on the auction block again.dream season same thing.stay below these 2 and have an adj dl and good shooting bow.i am shooting a bow madness mc now and really enjoy bowhunting again.ps.you dont have to have 366 ibo to kill deer.

for the life of me i could nt figure that omen out.some own them and do just fine but others like me and the new owner seem either not giving omen enough time or i guess we dont know anything about archery.the latter is probably not the correct answer.we had bow checked out and all was right on the money.i hated to see a bow that fast go but after a while it got old.i have an 18 yr old pse sitting here that will still get r done just not as fast as new bows.all i wanted was a 1 pin,fast,flat shooting bow.forgiving,it was not.glad you like your axe,excellent choice .if i ever get rid of bowmadness the axe 7 would be my choice.friend has matthews z7 and its a good one also.i hear the hf cam x forces from 08 were good but the hf went out the window when speed took over.good luck hunting and shooting .

I HAVE 2 MATHEWS and 2 mission bows. I'm getting ready to sell one of my missions. My very first bow was a PSE V-4 '98 model. I may be crazy, but I've got the hankering for either a stinger or chaos 1. I really want one too. I've got a monster for my target bow, with a hyperlyte as back-up

I've got an '08 x-Force hf6, only complaint is the 60-70% let-off, it makes for a solid wall but absolutely no valley. I shoot 286 fps with a 380gr arrow at 56lbs.

Glad to hear more good things about PSE, I know my brother likes them and has been running them for years now ...
 
 I had to settle with what I could afford this year with my wife just getting a new job. But I have been looking and I'm pretty confident that the PSE Stinger in the skulz camo pattern will be my next bow. Have read fist fulls of great reviews about that bow , sadly though my local shop that I use almost exclusively for archery equipment is a Bowtech/Diamond/ Bear shop so shooting one before I buy it doesnt look to be in the cards.
