445 Super Mag

    I have a First Issue DW 445 Super Mag with a 9 1/2" OAL compensated shroud. It also has a low SN and I was wondering if anyone knew about how many left the Norwich facility? I bought it new a few years ago from a friend who never shot it. The local gun shop was asking $50.00 for ammo, a box of 20, so he decided he couldn't aford to feed it. I got lucky and picked it up to go along with my DW 357  SM. Thanks for any info.    Stan

Check on danwessonforum.com ; it's dedicated to DW owners and there's alot of information available there.  I've also got a 357SM and it's a sweet shooter.

       Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm thinking about putting a scope on the 357 Max to get the most out of it. It's the most accurate revolver I own, but my tired old eyes aren't what they use to be. Thanks again.   Stan
