New Rifle (Tikka T3 338 Fed)
« on: August 14, 2010, 08:07:26 PM »
Guys I am going to order a 338 Fed Monday. I will be putting a Weaver K6 on it and shooting 210 Grain Nosler Partitions (if they will group). Does this rifle come with the scope rings or do I need to order the Talley rings when I order the scope? I am not paying Sako what they want for rings and bases.

All new Tikkas should come with aluminum rings.  I would check Gunbroker before ordering - I have seen some CHEAP lately.  If you intend to upgrade rings Talley is great so is Warne.
Good shooting.

Cheap doesn't do it justice as the deal I got. One of them fell into my lap things.

Use some locktight on the screws and the factory rings should work.  My 30-06 T3 has been fine with the factory rings.
