Shot My Widow Some Today (pics added)

I was shooting 3-4" groups @15 yards with some 25 year old fiberglass arrows.  My friend was shooting his Wing Redwing #55@28".  He has sights and did about as well.

Good deal, but I think you are dating yourself with those fiberglass arrows.  You sure they are only 25 year old......:D

Really congrats on getting to shoot and not being too rusty.  Us true trad guys no you don't need sights to shoot good.;)

A few 30 year old arrows from 10-20 yards and at various angles.

Hey Swampman, that is a beautiful recurve bow you have! Some good shooting with the vintage arrows also. I also like the older camo shirt, is that vintage also? Very good!! Great photos! Thanks! scout4<><

No! I think its kinda cool ;D I've always liked the old camo, had myself a chamo cotton shirt from woolrich with the same camo you have there, looked alot like it! scout4<><

Swanpman, that is a beautiful bow, Congratulations. I've shot a few Widows & they shoot well. Be careful though with those old fiberglass arrows, if one shatters you will likely get some in your forearm, thow wouldn't be fun. I'd put them on the wall & admire them. I have a few & I just enjoy looking at them & reminiscing about when I used to shoot them years ago.
