I'm surprised I only have one. I mean, sometimes I don't even like myself. I noticed BBF mentioned a few times. He ignored me shortly after I joined this forum. From the looks of it I'm in good company. Makes me wonder what it's like reading this forum when you've ignored half of the posters. Must be boring. Or maybe it would make one feel like everyone is on your side and agrees with you. Now I'm curious how many people are ignored by Mister BBF. (here and I thought he cared about us south of the border folks)

I can't see any reason to ignore Heather... I've never read anything from her that would warrant that. I almost did the ignore thing on a couple of people but then decided against it. Seemed to me that if I ignored them then I would have no idea what everyone else was writing about. I wouldn't ignore Dee... I like most of what he posts. Swampy is opinionated but once in a while I actually agree with him. TM7 gets my hackles up but so be it... he gets to say what he wants just like I do. I figure that "ignore" is like my own little "censor" button. I don't agree with censorship so I don't use it.

I have ignored most everyone at one time or another but have never actually hit the ignore button. Its like a football coach once told me, "If I quit raising hell at ya then be worried" "It means I gave up on ya!"

I have no need for the ignore feature. If I choose to ignore someone I do it the same way I do in person. I just stroll on by. In this case, I just scroll on by. I'm not naive enough to think that I don't get ignored by more than the one that put me on his list. I'm sure I get scrolled by alot.

I had a post on here about ignoring somebody for being condescending and now it's gone.
I guess that person is good buddies with a mod.

I didn't erase anything. I also checked the trash can and didn't see anything there. Is it possible you lost the post somehow?

If it was indeed deleted forever I think it had to be GB, us regular mods can't delete things out of the trash... If that was the case, I suspect it probably deserved to be deleted...

JUST AS NOTE: occasionally a post will not make it to the thread, sometimes when you get the red letter note about a post while you are typing one, when you post, it will go to internet pergatory. it has happened to me.

Well I don't use ignor, can't see any reason for it. I do have someone ignoring me though...I'm sure I deserve it

I would not worry too much about people ignoring you...hey it's just a game!

A lot of them don't really ignor you anyway...they still read your stuff....they just pretend to ignor you.

I am surprised that I am only ignored by three people. I think many of you consider me a pinko commie liberal but I guess some of you must still enjoy my comments at times or I would probably have a couple of hundred ignores. I find most opposing views quite entertaining so I have never ignored anyone.

Wow! I've got 4 ignoring me now..let's see... BBF is one; I wonder how many posts he does read. Looks like he only gets about 50% benefit from the forum..
Another has had me on ignore for a long time...but there are 2 new ones, one of which I have never heard of. I have never put anyone in this forum on the ignore list..

Ignoring doesn't work anyway;

I've tried to ignore B Hussein Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi on and off for a couple years now. it doesn't do a bit of good..they just keep right on messing up!

I think that we just forget to hit "post" .
Someone, who bugeye doesn't have "ignored", please tell him for me That if he thinks I am condecending---which is what he said once---he must live in a vacuum.
Totemkof and bugeye have me on ignore----I can say what I want because they ignore me----and---it is just as well. They are in good company---my wife has ignored me for years.

Don't take being ignored too seriously, it may be a blessing in disguise..here's a some quotes concerning "ignoring";

A) In order to keep a true perspective of one's importance, everyone should have a dog to worship him and a cat that will simply ignore him.

B) Snow and adolescence are the only things that will disappear if you ignore them long enough.

I've got 3 people who have me on ignore and for the life of me I don't know why...

Seems to me if they disliked me that much they would not ignore me but stick around just to take an occasional shot at me... $:-\$ 'specially since everybody knows I probably wouldn't respond in kind and just try to make a funny...

On purpose or otherwise, you are very close to one of my reasons for using the Iggy button, however I do keep an eye on some of those guys just to see if they have cleaned up their act to un-ignore them. Some have others didn't last long before I got sick of their crap again.

As I said before, I out of the 7 ignoring me, 2 I have no recall of ever conversing with them. The other 5 ignoring me, I suggested it to most of them, and consider it a blessing, and sincerely hope they never take me off ignore. There are two others I still am hopeful will eventually put me on ignore.
I have one on ignore but, I didn't put him there GB did. I don't want to ignore anyone, but I sure enjoy the 5 I have ignorin me.
