the funny thing I am on 2 ignore lists. Onw of the guys who is ignoring me pmed me last week and asked advice on a sidekick he bought. I guess I am just ignored until I can help out.

Hey bubba, me too, I've had two or three pm me just before they put me on ignore. One did it the other day. I sent him a pm thanking him, and then blocked his pms as I do everyone that has me on ignore, and a few that don't. Go figure.

When someone communicates with other folks, that makes them a communic-ant.

When one enters a contest, they are called an enter-ant.

If one decides there are many people he doesn't want to hear from, does that mean he's ignore-ant ?  ;) :D ;D

Not necessarily ironglow. I know several folks I had just as soon not hear from. Sometimes silence really is golden.

Not to argue with you but I don't see how it could have ever made it to being posted here. I've looked in the trash can and no such post is there. I've looked at your recent posts which shows all even those in trash and it's not there.

Now you do have a post that seems similar to what you mention that is in the Forums Support forum. Perhaps it was moved there by someone or perhaps that's where you made it rather than here.

I'm not saying I did or didn't respond to you but I have no recollection of responding to you on here about the subject. I have responded to a bunch of posts about folks unhappy with the video and dashboard ads. I think tho I've about responded to my last one of those as I don't believe there is anything new to add to the discussion so I kinda plan to IGNORE future posts on that subject.

I had a post on here about ignoring somebody for being condescending and now it's gone.
I guess that person is good buddies with a mod. ???
I didn't erase anything.  I also checked the trash can and didn't see anything there.  Is it possible you lost the post somehow?

If it was indeed deleted forever I think it had to be GB, us regular mods can't delete things out of the trash... If that was the case, I suspect it probably deserved to be deleted...
it was here. I didn't call any names so I don't know why he would do that.  oh well, no big deal.

The software won't let ya ignore me or allow me to ignore anyone. Adding me or me adding someone neither will have meaning. Moderators can't be ignored or ignore anyone at least not on the forums they moderate. Admins can't be ignored period.

Now we can always ignore someone by deleting them or banning them.  :o  :o  :o

I have a new take on this IGNORE
I feel your not a Good GBO member until you
are ignored by at least one
the more just means
Your a Posted with an Opinion not one of the
Fly bye's or trolls
So ignore me if you wish It is you who will loose
some of the wealth you would have learned from
Diversity,But then again I got too take a look
and thought of who I am Ignored by Kinda like
the Ole saying about Arguing with an Idiot you
end up in their Ball park "unfair advantage"

people are just to thin skinned these days. On another forum this guy posted that he was pulling out cuz he was from CA and was tired of the way they slammed people from CA. hahaha. Well i've been in CA for 35 yrs now, it's where my job is. And I don't much worry about folks who don't even know me that dislike me cuz of what state i live in. If i don't like what people have to say i tell em so and if folks don't like what i have to say i expect em to have enough guts to tell me so.....or they can run and hide and push their little "ignore" buttons. The world is full of chickens.......Mike

The only ones who ignored me were the ones I'm glad they did. One was two packages that i mailed when we had the PIF board. One guy got his and the other cried fowl. I know he finally got the package, but he was more comfortable calling me a liar that admitting he made a mistake.  I could have called him out as i did finally track the package down.  I decided to let him go....Sometimes ignore is good.

How could someone be an enemy ? For all we know one person might have several puters and be acting like several differen't  people  :) They could take differen't sides just to get folks riled up over nothing . You ignore one of them while the other laughs at ya and eggs you on . Taking anyone on a computer site serious is a waste of time !
That is other than me and a few others who are always serious as a heart attack and never kid around.  ;D ;D ;D ;)

So all this GBO stuff could be me talking to just one other guy who is just trying to get me to say something stupid?
If so, that guy is good at what he does!!
The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.

I don't see anybody here putting food on my table, paying my bills, taking care of my family or me when I'm ill. Nobody doing my chores, putting gas in my car nor money in my pocket. So why should I care what anyone thinks? Of course everyone likes to be liked. At least most of us do, but I look at it like this;
I've been shot, cut, stabbed, burned, blown up and beaten. I've survived a war, a massive heart attack, both lungs collapsing ( Twice ), being robbed at gun point at work, walking in on a burgler at home, and too many car wrecks I care to remember, so just what the h*** are words, or being ignored, gonna do to me?

Spirithawk I can't see why anyone would ignore you. You have some strong opinions, but I think you are one to listen to both sides. You and I have had our words and I think we both understand why the other feels the way they do.
