I have a 617-4, 10 shot.  Reloading is probably as fast as my High-Standard, but I have ordered a DS-10 speedloader  and a 100 round board for it, which should make it much faster than loading the magazine.

I have had a bunch of 22 autos, at least six MKI, MKII's and even one 22/45. A couple Browning's Nomad, Medalist and Challenger pistols. Most all of the High Standards from a M101 to a M106 thru the years. Two Walthers (TPH and OSP), two Benelli's (90's) and a couple Berettas too. I shamefully admit I have owned a Jennings and Phoenix junk 22 autos.

NONE of the Rugers, Walther OSP, 21 Beretta and Benelli's ever let me down. The Walther and benelli's better not for what they cost!!!

I would have to say that the little Beretta would be my top pic... We shoot ALLOT of 22's!!! As a matter of fact, I keep all duds fired in the others and my buddie shoots them in his 21!! MOST go bang!!!

I just dont know anything more reliable than a MKII and a 10/22.

That being said I have quite a few 22 pistols I like most (the Walter fit just great but was a jammer no news there) but I bought a Berretta Neos man that is accurate beyond my belief

I have a Ruger MKII, MKIII and 22/45 have had no issues with any of them.  Also have a Walther P22 it likes HV ammo.

Ruger SP-101 , never ever had it jam or misfire (  been lucky ammo was good  ;) ) . The gun is built like a vault . It will shoot any ammo made for a 22LR. fr0om shot shells to heavy lead bullets even mixed.
I would guess a revolver would claim most reliable due to design.

Huh?  I thought the Ruger SP-101's were centerfire revolvers.  Did they make one in a 22lr or something?

Yep , mine is a 4 inch bbl. I believe they also made a 2 inch bbl. I would like a 3 inch bbl but they didn't make um yet. And I would also like a 22 mag.

I would have to say my Browning Buckmark, haven't had a bad Ruger.  The Buckmark just feels good to me.

I've had a Beretta Neos for awhile now and am really pleased with it. It's quite accurate, easy to take down and clean, plus it isn't fussy about ammo, it'll shoot anything. ;)

Browning nomad will shoot with anything you can mix all brands and it still shoots. Standard and high velosity or mini mags mixed it don't care.

OOps.. When I posted about my Granddads Smith 46, I had forgotten that
I had shot a couple of mags with mixed loads in my Nomad without a hiccup.
The longer barrel on the Smith is easier for me to aim. The Nomad will digest
anything I throw at it!

No longer own the nomad . Had it since I was 16 bought it used in 1966. Sold it to a man that gave me over 5 times what I paid for it. Still regret it. Killed every thing from a rabbit to marsh deer with it.

I wish I could find a scope mount for my Nomad, then I might be
able to hit something with it. Nothing wrong with the pistol, just
