The Church was in the shadow of WTC2 and was crushed during the WTC demolitions.
The congregation wants to rebuild it and needs donations if you can help.
There is a hold up in rebuilding primarily due to funding and finalizing of the GZ memorial plans.
There seems to be no political or other problems with rebuilding, except the usual, contrary to what the islamophobes say in there mosque diatribes.
I would say there is pressure, however, to sell the property so a bank could be put there instead.

From what I understand the problem is the city says it can't be taller than the 9-11-01 monument, the shrine the Godless ones want is much taller, but it's OK. POWDERMAN.

Did you bother to read anything on that site, TM? Did you have trouble understanding it?  Did you check any other sites?  The Greeks won't have any trouble coming up with the money to build once the State stops jacking them around.
