Ballistic app for droid phones?
« on: August 17, 2010, 04:38:47 PM »
Was just curious if anyone has the droid phone app called shooter?  Its a very complex app and i think it will be great to use, just curious if anyone has any experience with it or any other ballistic app for the droids.

what's a droid phone?

First, I want to apologize for having a chuckle at your expense.  I found the question sort of funny, probably because the people I hang around tend to follow technology pretty closely and tend to be gadget geeks.

Second, I will answer your question.  A "droid phone" is a cellular smart phone that runs the "Android" operating system created by Google.  To officially be able to use the word "Droid" as part of their name, they have to pay a licensing fee to LucasArts or some other subsidiary of George Lucas, but most people refer to any phone that runs the "Android" operating system as being a "droid" phone.
