This Might be a Deal for Someone
« on: August 18, 2010, 06:23:18 AM »
I stumbled across this, this morning and thought I'd pass this along.  It looks like it might be a good project at a low cost and end up with a nice Longbow.

That is a good deal probably not a good pick for a beginner (like me ) but for that price I might pick one up anyhow! ;D

This actually is the perfect bow for a beginner as it is a take down "Bows are availible in 20-60# and 19"- 32" draw lenght" There are 9 or were 9 bows available.

I would like to know how they stack and how smooth or not they are.  Good project for some one who wants to finish their own bow.  I will say, its the first 3 piece TD longbow that I have seen, as it looks like it started out as a recurve kit.

All of the hard work has been done.  All you need is to sand it smooth and put a finish on it, possibly stain it before putting a clear polyurethane over it.  Nothing a novice couldn't handle.

Now the question is, does the young'un get new shoes, or do I get a new cheap bow?    ;D
