That brings up some memories. When my mom called me by all three names I was in deep do do. My grandson's nickname is Robbie but when my daughter calls him Robert David Gates he's in it deep.

The name my Mother stuck me with, no one can say it.  So most folks just call me Roger, which I don't like, so I tell them to call me Rog.  That's Roger without the er.

My name is Roggie, pronounced as rageeee.  Only people from Greece and India say it right the first time.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

My advice to everyone is not to give your real name. The ,OP , original poster,  probably wants to be friends and encourage friendship amongst the posters, which is a desirable thing. Putting your real name and other personal information on the internet can come back to haunt you. It will always be there. If you want to trade names, do it privately. Once your privacy is gone, it is gone forever. Yes I  know it sounds paranoid, but don't think it isn't without consequences. You have no idea what sort of information can be gleaned from your posts. Your geographical location can easily be found from your IP , internet provider. I know mine is posted for me to see, in the lower corner of every post.  Imagine every thief, home invader, pervert, and sociopath was looking at your information, and go from there.

Resist the urge to tell, remain anonymous.

No prosecuter is his job, not a last name.
Also his first name has changed.  When he was in the Army it was Captain.   ;D
Having traded with some of these guys, sent and recieved checks even met some face to face, I think that is personal information, and those people have entrusted me with their names and address and if they want them to be known here they can tell you.  Same as I would not want them to state my full name here for all to see.  Real first names are Ok but only after they have mentioned it.
