The P9x series Rugers were rugged, simple, dependable, and a bit clunky.
They are great for a "Sam Brown" duty belt carry, a house gun, or a truck gun.
Some were extremely accurate.
Ruger sells some nice fiber optic sights , at good prices [$35], for most all P series.
Currently, the P95 is a real bargain and is, ... by P9x standards, ... positively svelte.
The P345 is very impressive for a compact 45acp.
Almost all of the P9x series had an excellent ambidextrous mag release; they were stiff when new, but smoothed up nicely.
All P9x series need to be shot and used a lot to "break them in" and smooth them up.
