No Casino at that place in PA
« on: August 19, 2010, 01:19:43 PM »
I'm begging a bit of indulgence to do a bit of politicing - a link to a petition to prevent a casino from going up near Gettysburg.

No Casino at Gettysburg

If this is beyond the scope of this forum, please remove it, but I felt it a matter of importance.

subdjoe: I'm going to make it a sticky and also lock it as there is no need to reply. Each person can follow his/her own heart.

BTW no problem so long as its in the vein of WONA and the forum isn't flooded with such!

I'm coming back today to up date this post with the following:

Quote
Independent Analysis Reveals Deep Flaws in Proposed Gettysburg Casino Economic ProjectionsExamination discloses that casino would have “serious, substantial and sustained adverse impacts” to the Gettysburg Battlefield and surrounding community

Also subdjoe if you have any more news you care to share here just PM me and I'll be more than happy to post it Again thanks for giving us the heads up

I am adding ironfoots link concerning this as it is a most important subject to us all. The link and its message need to stay in the forefront of our minds.
