22lr chipmunk
« on: August 19, 2010, 05:47:42 PM »
Does anyone have an opinion about the practicality of trying to use one on SB.  Maybe/maybe not?

I don't know what SB means either but I've handled these little single shot pistols several times at Academy Sports. The fiber optic sights are great and it looks like it would be a fun addition to a 22 collection. Haven't shot one so can't comment on anything else.

In that case I would say yes once you found the ammo it liked.

Good accurate little guns, but not a great trigger.  I'd probably opt for an extra hundred or so bucks and get the Savage youth target model MARK I FVT.  This has target sights already and accutrigger and by the time you put money into the sights for that little chipmunk you will probably have as much or more into it.  ;)
