The lamestream media is distrusted..

We hear from poll after poll that the lamestream media, especially the newspapers, but also the broadcast media..are simply no longer trusted by most of the public. Since some broadcast news outlets are in painful straits for market share and many newspapers are about to fold financially, one would think remedial measures (such as fair & balanced); would be the order of the day. ...But it sure doesn't look like they have the message yet!  
     In 2004, Tom Delay (R-TX) had some charges lodged against him by some dubious politicians. I think we can all recall the incessant cry from the alphabet networks and the big-letter, banner headlines in newsprint, led by the NY Times, screaming to the words...TOM DELAY INDICTED..
    In the past week it was announced that Delay was CLEARED of ALL the trumped-up charges. If any semblance of "fair & balanced" were being observed, one would expect the same size/type headlines would announce Delay being found not guilty.  Not so I guess...none of their "journalists" want to "man up".        The Lamestreamers can take a bit of solace in that, low as they are viewed..one group stands LOWER in the category of public trust..and that is the US congress!

   Incidently; the US military rates miles higher than either of them!

"fair and balanced" is a marketing term. Nothing more. Interesting when a nations reporters keep the masses occupied with who did this or who did that, and won't report in depth what the gooberment is doing about _________ at the moment. Google up the BBC and news from Canada and other nations, they seem to report better than our at home sources most of the time. get a story from somebody who doesn't have a dog in the fight, compare it to what is going on in the papers and alphabet channels.

Yep!  Old Maxine has already offered  a headline for her ethics problems, when her charges of "racism" fell flat, suddenly she switched to
