I decided on the full size SR9, which is still pretty compact because it's the thinnest double-stack around (I have smallish hands and only the Ruger and Kahr gave me the proper finger-to-trigger distance). I liked the idea of having 17 rounds, plus it just felt better in my hand and had better balance than the compact, which felt pretty top heavy. I did a lot of checking on the net and the SR9 got superb marks for reliability and shootability. The Kahr also felt great and had an even thinner grip, and a very light, smooth trigger, but at 15 ounces I knew it wouldn't be nearly as pleasant to shoot as the heavier SR9 and I believe in doing a lot of practice.
If I had a need to carry 24/7, which I don't, I would probably have picked the Kahr CW9. If I were going to carry a moderate amount I would get the Sr9c. Since I'm only going to carry occasionally, the regular SR9 was the best choice for me.
