Pressure Washing Traps

Over the years I have pressure wash my traps at the car wash and by taking them to work and using the machine there. Recently I got the chance to buy a pressure washer very cheap. I had a tote full of last falls dirt traps sitting in the garage, so the other day I hauled them out. I filled the tote full of water to the top and let the traps soak for a bit. Then got the pressure washer out and fired it up. Like I said I've done this before many times, but it was so nice to have my own machine. The traps cleaned up real nice and this machine almost strips the old wax off down to the metal.
So I'm just curious.
How many others here use a pressure washer to clean their coon and possum muddied goo ball traps.

I don't have a pressure washer myself,but I do take them over to the hand car wash and blast off my cage traps a couple of times a year.

back when I trapped, there was no such thing as a car wash  or  pressure washer.  had to boil them.
for old times sake I kept a newhouse 1 1/2

I bought a cheap on that is only 1800 PSI but it works very well  for me. If I would not have gotten a deal on this one I would have spent another $150 for the 2300 PSI.
It sure does help to soak them for a couple days. They clean right up very nicely. Also has a multitude of other uses as well.

pressure washer works great on a decks, just be carefull depending on wood, it can and will start ripping out the wood.

after pressure washing,make sure the wood is completely dry befor sealing it.takes alittle longer cuz the presured water can penatrate the wood deeper.but it works great.......
