Fur buyers in Northern Ky
« on: August 23, 2010, 06:52:23 PM »
Does anyone know of a fur buyer who has a route that goes through no. Ky? The feller I used quit. Im interested in selling my furs and herbs and would rather use a country buyer than ship. As a matter of opinion though would you rather ship or have  a local guy? I've never shipped. Are the prices better? Thanks, Hellbilly
I break for animals, I eat them and wear their skins.

I have shipped to NAFA several times. You can do very well at auction --or get your butt handed to you--it all depends on how the auction goes.
I have had the same local buyer for most of the last 30 years. I pretty much know ahead of time, what I am  going to be paid for the furs I sell to him. A good local buyer is very hard to beat.
Sorry I can't help you with any Kentucky buyers.
