 I always refer to it as a Mosin. I agree,a Nagant is most definitely a revolver. =)

It's kind of funny, because it doesn't bother me at all if somebody calls a Lee Enfield an Enfield, maybe because Enfield did not make a lot of pistols to confuse them with.
