switching sids.
« on: August 26, 2010, 03:17:10 AM »
Had a very interesting talk with my daughter last night. Her and son inlaw were very pro obama, campaighned for him, made calls, the whole 9 yards. Well, now they are anti obama, going to join the tea bag movement, sent thier dues to the nra, put a flag in the front yard. I have never been so proud!

Why the change?
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

..

The kids have jobs and responsibilities now and they are not so stupid as to be unobservant of the disaster this menace has wreaked on the US.

As one commentator put it when referring to Obama: you can only hide incompetence for so long.

when kids are young they want to save the world ( at least the ones who pay attention) . After they make some money and pay bills and taxes all they want is to survive with a little of what they make.

going to join the tea bag movement

You mean Tea Party?  I wouldn't go around saying tea bag movement.  On the internet tea bagging has a VERY (very) different meaning that I wouldn't want them to get mixed up with.  I won't go into it here, but if you must know Google is your friend ;).

I make fun of leftists at family gatherings (the ones related to me, lefties in general too).  I don't outright shame them, but I give them a little heat about it.

Don't do it unless you have a strong heart (and stomach) it's fairly revolting.

Someone on here once wrote (don't remember who it was or if they were quoting someone else or not) that any 20 year old who is not a liberal has no heart and any 40 year old who is not a conservative has no brain.
This that I do, I do by my own free will.
