Lots of discussion on them in Forums Support, they're here to stay at least thru the end of the year, learn how to stop them, I get one a day the first time here every day.

Guys you can gripe, bitch, complain, piss and moan all ya want. We do allow that here.

BUT I'm under contract on the ads thru the end of this year. I dunno about ya'll but when I sign a contract I honor it and if I tried to get out of it I'd have to pay thru the nose if they even agreed to it which I doubt they would.

They are here to stay thru the end of year.

I just don't understand your problem with them. Yeah I know I've not walked a mile in your shoes and don't use whatever device some of you do to surf. On computers it takes less than two seconds to close and the close button is always in the same spot on your screen. In my case with 800x600 screeen resolution it's the very upppermost item on the right of my screen.

There are all sorts of browsers that block such and if you were a subscriber here according to what Matt says ya see no ads anyway. None of you spent more time per day here than me and I see the same thing you do I can stop them but I don't as I feel I need to see and experience what you do so I know what the impact of the actions I take are.

You are making a mountain out of a mole hill. Do you ever watch TV? How do those commercials compare? And you are paying to watch those at least here we let you watch them for free.

I guess some folks just have to have something to complain about. My youngest son loves doing that more than most anything else in life I think so I try to give him lots of opportunity to gripe and complain as that seems his favorite past time. I kinda think it might be for some of you.

On average we have around 100,000 different folks view the site per month. I've got at most 20 of you complaining. What does that tell you? I know what it tells me.

I will reevaluate them at the end of the current contract which is the end of this year on them as I understand the contract terms. If they are only paying $200-$300 per month they will likely not be renewed. If they are paying $750-$1000 or more a month they will be renewed. It was kinda intimated we might take in $3000 per month on them but already we know that was a GROSS over statement and just plain ain't happening but that figure tossed out did impact my decision to give them a go. For now we just honestly don't know how much we're gonna be paid and really won't have a good feel for it until around the middle to late part of September most likely as they must get a count of the ads displayed thru August and compute our payment and then cut a check and I'm not sure when the check will arrive but it might not be until late September or early October. Only when that first check arrives will I have a solid feel for how much it is bringing in.

The contract will be fulfilled and depending on the amount of income it draws we'll either renew assuming they want to renew or not. I don't know what your financial status is but trust me there is no way I'm turning down $750 to $1000 per month IF (BIG IF FOR NOW) they pay us that. Now if it's only a couple hundred I might turn that down and make do. Right now tho I am having a cash flow problem that I need these ads to fix thru the end of this year. After that we'll just have to see.

But 20 or so chronic complainers are not gonna stop us from taking in several hundred or more bucks a month if the ads pay that well. If it were that big a deal I'd see it and act accordingly. I see what you see if you are on a computer at least. I don't use a cell phone any differently than I do my home phone it's for making and taking phone calls. For me nuttin more.

What ADs ??? I don't get any ads at all... and it was
SO Easy to fix.....And I even left easy to follow directions...

Bingo!!! I use Firefox and Ad-Aware Free, I see the GM or John Deere dashboard once a day, none of the other pop-ups everyone is griping about, with all the freeware available, there's no excuse for running a PC without proper protection.

i HAVE YET TO READ YOUR ENTIRE RESPONCE ON THE TRUCK ADS-when I get a bunch of free time--i surely will.I am no computer wizard,at times I can get rid of it--others I can't --but it is frustrating as hell, whebn you have a truck or a woman--cover up the responces you are typing.
Now its time to go lay dowen near my dish.
