.357 Maxi
« on: August 28, 2010, 05:26:37 PM »
I have a post started up farther in GBO. It's all about my new .357 maxi rifles. Check it out, if you've been waiting to ream that Mag to Max, wait no longer. It shoots the Mags even better afterwards.

I'm doing just fine, things have slowed down a bit and I'm not traveling as much. That could change in a blink so I gotta shoot whenever I can. Next week I will submit leave for 15-31 Nov. Gotta have time to deer hunt with the Maxi.  ;)

Thanks, Dinny

Dinny,

Hope you get a Maxi-Deer.  If you need a gunbearer for deer season let me know I am close by and have my Maxi zeroed @ 125 yards. ;D

BB,
No sir! A fine gentleman like yourself will never carry my rifle. If anything, I would carry yours. I plan to hunt in Charlestown, but may end up out in Borden instead.

I shot the Encore more today and got great groups from it. Makes me feel a bit better giving the Handi back to my Mom.

Thanks, Dinny

I'll let you decide that ;)......with 28gr of AA1680 and a 180gr Hornady 180gr SS-PB, the Encore put three shots together, all touching. I adjusted to make it hit dead center and 1" high at 100yds. Two more shots were touching and I haven't shot it since. :)

Thanks, Dinny
