32-20 brass Rem or Win?
« on: August 30, 2010, 08:21:01 AM »
Starline is not available in Canada.

Does anyone have a preference between Rem or Win brass for the 32-20?

No they won't Lloyd.  They do have a distributor but 32-20 is not available.

Americans should know that your Homeland Security people will not allow the shippment of many items like brass, bullets, scopes, gunparts over $100 and such without an export permit.  American retailers just don't bother.  If it keeps one sniper scope out of Taliban hands I agree for the safety of both our troops.

That's a bummer. Starline's a great value. Honestly I don't have any experience with the other brands in 32-20 but in general I've been reasonably happy with Remington brass in everything else I reload so FWIW.

I have had better performance overall (since you can't have Starline) with Winchester.  Seems to have less problem with stretching and splitting.  You will also find that Starline and Winchester are the same length yet Remington's supplied length is longer and will need to be trimmed if seaters/crimpers have been adjusted for the other brands.

Yep, everyone knows the Taliban gets all their scopes and gun parts from Canada,---------------and all the weapons used by the drug cartels in Mexico are bought at gun shows in Arizona!
