This happen to a man that my wife worked with at a University. This guy was insanely crazy over his yard and NEVER wanted anything parked in his yard. One day he was trying to fix something on the roof and couldn't safely do it with out a safety rope. SO he parked their station wagon in the front yard with the rope tied to the bumper run across the roof to the back where he was working. His wife came out to go to the store "didn't" see the rope or find it ODD that the car was in the grass. Got in and pulled out dragging the ladder that the rope was tied to and her husband (because he tied himself to the ladder) up and over the roof into the front yard and out into the street only stopping when she kept hearing a loud rattle. He spent 2 days in the hospital and had been home for about a week when some friends stopped by to check on him. Well she didn't let him smoke anywhere in the house but the bathroom with the exhaust fan..........she was trying to "help" him by filling his lighter with fluid (over the toilet) and when he went in to smoke/use the toilet, he lit his cigarette throwing the lit match into the toilet full of lighter fluid and KABLOOM he sustained 2nd degree burns to his privates, bottom, an the backs of his upper thighs, to the hospital they went where he spent 6 days. She says it was accident but some of us wonder.......
