Beretta Stampede

.I found a. Beretta Stampede in a local gun shop, in 45 LC, the price seems good from what I saw on Gun B. what do you think of them, how would you rate it to the Ruger Black hawk thanks.

No first hand experience with them, but I believe they must be kept at 45 Colt SAAMI spec which is 14kpsi.  Some others may be positive, but the owners manual for the stampede states as such.  8)

The Berretta Stampede is made by Uberti (Barretta owns them)  I beleive it has a transfer bar but can;t swear to is.  It is OK for standard Colt loads but will not stand up to the abuse that a Ruger will nor the hot loads.  If you are happy with loads firing a 250 gr slug at 900 fps they are just fine.
