....The Lee collet sizer is different than normal full length sizing dies.....you can't back them off and have them work correctly.......the collet die is more or less a neck sizer and part body sizer and shouldn't be as bad about moving the shoulder as a normal full length die......but for true neck sizing you will need a neck sizer or neck bushing type die and then size only the upper half of the neck to avoid moving the shoulder and to leave the expanded lower half of the neck to center the neck/bullet in the chamber.......with a regular full length sizing die you can "partial full length resize" which doesn't set the shoulder back and does part of the neck by unscrewing the die about one turn but not with the collet die........a headspace tool such as Stoney Point,Davidsons and others is the only sure way to tell how much the shoulder is being moved or needs to be moved.....according to my understanding and loading.......some chambers don't like neck sizing and some do well with it...give the collet a chance to work and play with seating depth....my 223 700 likes the jump to be .015.......hth..good luck and good shooting-loading!!

The Lee collet die does not touch the shoulder.
Just set up per instructions and you will see where it only sizes the neck.
