Some Maine Bears on Video
« on: September 05, 2010, 06:12:37 PM »
Thought some guys might like to see some video footage of some bears that my 17yr old son took for me while sitting with me on my hunt last week. We were on the ground less than 18yds away from all these bears.....exciting to say the least!

A sow & her cub part 1....

Sow & her cub part 2, they stuck around awhile so I gave the nod to my camera man to get some more footage....

A smaller bear that showed up a couple days. I let him pass so he could grow.

A real nice shooter that I'd say went around 275-300lbs. I drew on him and had to let my bow down to take my headnet off because it was starting to get dark and I couldn't clearly see with it on. When I did he heard my bow brush against my pant leg and stared me down knowing my white face just didn't belong there. He took off and came back in 5mins later to take one more look at me and booked it out of there. I never seen him again!  >:(

Here's a good still of the bigger bear that I copied from the video and enhanced the lighting.
