Knight Wolverine self cocking

 Wolverine 209, 90 grains triple 7 measured by volume, 300 grain Hornady XTP jhp, black sabots, Winchester ML 209 primers.  Trying a heavier bullet in an attempt to get better than minute of pie plate groups, each time I let a round go the backblast recocked the striker.  Is this something I need to worry about?  Could 90 grains be too hot?

im curious about that breech plug?  if the vent is worn and opened up too much you will get excessive back pressure.. the load you are describing shouldn't be doing what you are describing

+1 sounds like too big of an opening in the breechplug.

Might also check to see if the striker spring got modded.
