KP1 hammer extension
« on: September 06, 2010, 01:50:20 PM »
Now that I have enough on hand to let out the info, the Knight KP1 hammer extension is only 24 grams compared to 140 grams for the factory piece. It will have to be drilled 6/32 to screw it in. It will give folks another option.

What's the Traditions extension weigh and what thread tap is needed? All this is going in the FAQs with the other extensions.

Tim

Now that answers a few of my questions previously posted in the other post. But they both look too short. Any other ideas?

Thanks, Dinny

Few minutes and i'll get the weight.  8)
*edit*
Weight is 3.65g and I'm trying to find what the thread was, but I believe it's 8-32.  Will verify that.  8)

That doesn't make sense, an H&R extension weighs ~130 grains which = 8.4 grams, are you mixing grains and grams?

I've seen one longer one somewhere.  I'll see if I can find it.  ;)

No, the factory extension is nearly 5 times heavier than the Knight.  I must have mixed grains and grams, but weighed both multiple times for comparison. Either way they are much lighter and around $4 a pop.  They come two in a pack for the price.

Thanks, that makes the price more in line with the Ebay/Numrich extension.

Are they the same length as the H&R extension?
