Geeeezzz....I can just imagine the bruhaha and rhubarb if a bunch of moslems were burning Bibles.
Maybe this book burning pastor can cite where Christ said to fight hate with hate.
I'd be interested in reading all about that.

I am told that anyone who brings a Bible into a hardline Muslim country, may well have his/her Bible confiscated, which will be consigned to the flames. There is a vast difference however, in that Christians normally do not go "bonkers" over the burning of a printed page..it is just a printed page. Even though both the Koran and Bible are often labeled as "Holy", I frankly see nothing holy about a product emerging from a printshop by the millions. Most "people of the book", those who study and use the Bible daily, realize that the only thing "Holy" is the author of the Bible....and a bunch of fanatical crazies can't touch him. The printed book is a "tool'..produced "for correction, reproof and instruction in righteousness.
Outside of the kook of Gainesville, we don't believe we must burn Korans (not that I really care about their printed page), nor murder people who have mocked Jesus (a common thing)..or issue some kind of "fatwah' against somebody who paints a disrespectful painting of Jesus. Most of us know that the REAL God doesn't need puny man to fight Bible burners and murder painters for Him..he's big enough and powerful enough to take care of himself..
" The millstones of God sometimes turn slowly, but they always grind exceedingly fine"..
Now, I don't know how capable their god is but they seem to think he needs help..
BTW: This guy is either brave, crazy or both.. he is now in danger from some who are more crazy than he. I hope the local lawmen are prepared with advanced weapons and tactics.
In this case and the case oif the "victory mosque" insistors, they both have a right to b e obnoxious..but being obnoxious is still not right.
And yes Shootall, a few printed volumes burned to ashes, in no way compares to a few thousand people burned to ashes.
