Yesterday a lady in my church sent me an email with an attachment of a young girl being stoned to death. Most of these are quickly dismissed as fake, but this one was different. It was all in Arabic, and I watched a young girl of most likely 18 to 20 years old be kicked and stomped repeatedly by a huge crowd of mostly young men. The coup de gras was one finally showed up with a cinder block to the head, and it was applied with the utmost sincerity and it only took two or three applications. After that, she stopped trying to protect herself, and the blood began to flow, and it was over for the girl.
Was it disgusting? Yes! Was it cowardly? Yes! Was it brutally sickening? Most definitely. Was there anything I could do to stop it? No there was not. It has been happening for several thousand years, and it is, what it is.
I have made up my mind years ago about Islam, and have made no secret of it. I have made up my mind about Obama, and expect nothing different from what he is doing. I have made my decisions, and eliminated the frustration. I don't need to burn a Koran which is nothing more than paper, or blow my nose on it, and I don't need to call Muslims names, as God is specific concerning sin, and it's consequences.
However! Back to this preacher. I have seen many men in my past profession, work themselves into a frenzy, and make statements and promises, that when confronted, backed down. It is an entirely different matter to stand in a pulpit, or type on a computer in a nice safe little environment, and say things, or insult someone, than it is to stand INFRONT of that same person and say those things, or insult that person. I have seen MANY TIMES, that the loudest one, is not usually the toughest one, and the loudest one, is usually the most polite, when the one insulted is standing right there. I see that a lot here on these forums I think.
My point here is, that instead of threatening the good Pastor, perhaps the FBI, whom by the way I have no real use for, for REAL REASON, not imagined, merely ENLIGHTENED the Pastor for what he was getting into, and the Pastor's Oh S#*T Factor went up, and he extricated himself from his self-made peril by backing down.
Now once again powderman, you have mentioned my L.E. career, and my LEANING ON A BAD GUY. If a police officer EVERY BACKS DOWN HE'S FINISHED. However, IF HE'S HABITUALLY UNFAIR OR INTIMIDATING HE WILL BE FINISHED. But there is a thing called "FORCED COMPLIANCE", and I would like to explain that term to you.
If you are speeding thru a School Zone because your in a hurry, and perhaps don't care, or perhaps your just speeding somewhere. The Officer will write you a ticket for speeding. You may not agree with the ticket, but your sudden shortage of monetary funds due to the ticket will FORCE COMPLIANCE from you concerning speeding, thru you finances.
If your beating your wife, or she's beating you, and the Cop that shows up is too small to arrest you, or your wife, he will simply call more Cops, and the FORCED COMPLIANCE will be applied to the degree necessary, to stop the beating. You see powderman, I have met many men that thought they were tougher than me, and they quite possibly were. But to me, TOUGH MEANS, getting your ass kicked, and not whining about it. BEING WILLING TO PARTICIPATE REGARDLESS OF THE OUTCOME, is an entirely different matter however. And those that know me, know I am willing.
SO powderman, I used FORCED COMPLIANCE in my job. Sometimes it was a short and to the point, verbal explanation of consequence for bad behavior, sometimes it was a citation, and sometimes it was something different, and only twice in 21 years, did it involve actually launching projectiles toward another human being.
But none of this, that you have brought up twice, has anything to do, with a "loud mouthed Preacher" that as I said: MOST LIKELY LET, his "Alligator mouth, over load his Hummin Bird Ass".
Now my simple proposal is: For all you dedicated loathers of the "godless ones", that think the government intimidated the Pastor into not burning the Koran. Show your own courage, commitment, and dedication. Obtain a Koran, a zippo, and some bacon grease. Call the News Media, tell the FBI to kiss your ass, and BURN THAT KORAN. I would like to see that.
