How can I tell if the 2 new ush I have are the new ultragon rifleing?

How can one tell the new Ultragon rifleing from the older? And does anybody see any differance in the performance? Thanks Drop

Its just the angling that the rifling is cut at or more the lack of.  Oval shaped lands supposedly grip the sabot better, while creating a more consistent gas seal.  Sorta a hybrid of polygonal rifling and ballard rifling.

Unload the gun, look down the barrel, in a 20ga. with Ultragon rifleing  there should be only 6 lands and 6 grooves . The older  rifling will have more land and grooves. I don't know how many more but there will be more. Never shot one with the older rifleing, but mine with the Ultragon shoots great with Rem. 2 3/4 Acutips.
