Shot this Yote, my first with a bow, about 5 yards from my tree stand first week of bow season, 2009. One shot, dropped, twitched once.
Ol' lady has her first deer hide on the wall from first bow kill ever. Huge bodied buck. She wanted to make shooting this yote, very memorable for me. So she paid to have it made into a rug for our bedroom wall.
We went through heck with the taxidermy guy, giving us the run around, not returning phone calls or visits for 6 months. Ol' lady went and paid him a visit twice this week. Once to tell him he'd had it a year, and he's 7 months late from what he told us, and she'd paid and had enough. The second was to get it, weather he was done or not. And what luck, he was!
I'm very proud of it. Very memorable.
