Lyman 58 cal
« on: September 11, 2010, 03:46:02 PM »
So I hit up an estate sale today, the man who died was a civil war buff.  From the looks of the guns, he reenacted too.  Anyways, Im new to muzzle loading rifles and wanted to get some feed back on this one.  I was unable to find this model online.  Its in very good shape, a few dings from playing war, but nothing major.   Was wondering if I got a good deal? How everyone likes this brand?

Also picked up that model 1860 Army Pistol with holster there as well.  Thats made by Sile corp. Couldnt find much online about that company either.
Gave $100 a piece for the guns.  I cant wait to shoot them.

Thanks for the reply.  I went and took pics of the top of the barrel.  Mine looks just like the one you listed.  But mine is made by Antonio Zoli.  Still looks like I got a good deal.
