I thought I had posted and settled this.
The deer is real! He was shot during last of the archery season with a slug and then tagged as a shotgun kill during gun season by a youth. The Region 9 Dec. office south of Rochester is having the head mounted and it will be in the region office there.
The guy posing with the deer did not shoot it. He was working at the state fish hachery where the deer was taken.
Still a nice deer and the next time I am back to my brothers in Rochester I may stop and see it.
